In favor of strengthening Corona virus health regs. in Va Businesses

I am in favor of strengthening the Corona virus health regs. for Va. Businesses.  We need to be able to prevent another spike in the virus and the best way to do this is to make sure that health precautions are robust enough to actually lessen the likelihood of individuals becoming infected.  Individuals who work indoors in offices, retail spaces and other places where people congregate have been shown to face a higher risk of infection than do people who work in other capacities (such as telecommuting or at certain kinds of outdoor jobs).  Likewise, an individual shopping at an indoor market is more at risk than an individual using curbside pickup to obtain goods.  Individuals who become infected at the workplace and while shopping can then spread the disease to others in their households.  I believe that it is imperative that wearing masks and other precautions be mandated and enforced for everyone who may come in contact with people outside their own households.  This is especially true for people who will be working in environments where the disease is most readily able to spread.  WHO and CDC have shown that individuals who have the virus are less likely to infect others if they wear a mask.  It has also been shown that people can shed virus and infect others before they ever have symptoms or know they have the virus.  Therefore, it makes sense for everyone to act as if they are non-symptomatic carriers.  Wearing a mask and taking other precautions such as sanitizing surfaces and practicing physical distancing are the best ways to protect each other.
