Sedation wasn't used when my friend helped her 18 year old cat cross the rainbow bridge. She still hasn't recovered from the trauma. Animals and their owners shouldn't have to be in pain at the time of their passing. Please make it a regulation that every clinic should sedate an animal before it has to be put to sleep.
