To whom it may concern,

I stand in support of the proposed regulation change to allow lawful handgun owners to conceal carry in State Forests. Doing so, I believe, will send a clear message to criminals everywhere that the People of Virginia are not a bunch of targets to be abused as they (the criminals) see fit. If just one single rape, murder or robbery is averted by such a regulation change then I would have to say the change was well worth it. Shouldn't lawful gun owners have the right to carry, concealed or otherwise, anywhere there may be criminals lurking to do them or others harm? I say yes. I should have the right to protect my family no matter where I am, legally.

Thank-you for considering the change which will allow Virginians to have a chance at protecting their family and themselves in State Forests.
