The CCDBG guidelines state that all staff shall be "trained" We support that 100% of staff should be "trained" but we feel that 50% should be certified. This will allow one teacher to perform the CPR and or FA while the other teacher cares for the children. Also, we ask for 90 days rather than a 30 day grace period for new staff needing the certification.
