I support the notion for staff who work directly with children be CPR and First Aid trained and 50% be certified. But to require all the new hires become certified within 30 days is challenging as there is not enough certification classes taught on the weekends/off hours to accomodate every new hire in the state. Has that fact been looked into by the department?
