Requiring CPR/First Aid certification for all employees within 30 days of hire is an impracticle and unmanageable requirement to expect. Early care centers have to rely on outside agencies to be able to schedule and complete these trainings. Typically, trainers have a minimum number of participants required to hold a class. If a Center has only one staff that needs certification, it may not be possible to have that staff certified without undue hardship.
