The current attempt to try to impose hospital like restrictions on outpatient women’s health clinics does little to improve the safety of women. Medicine needs to be evidence based, and there is no scientific evidence to support these regulations. The undue financial burden of these regulations will result in closure of clinics that provide a multitude of services to women including birth control and cancer screening. I urge the Commissioner and the Board of Health to move forward to improve accessibility to healthcare for women not to move forward a political or ideological agenda. over this text and enter your comments here.
