the fundamental significance of terminating a baby's life.    Abortion clinics should be held to hospital standards (several years ago I had a colonoscopy which had to be done in a hospital, at Medicare's insistence).   The standards are reasonable and provide for good management and transparency of such a vital life-altering  procedure.    Gov McAuliffe should focus on other matters like increasing pressure on legislators to adopt reasonable standards of ethics, and never mind about watering down life - preserving standards.
