I strongly urge legislators to NOT TAMPER WITH THE PROVISIONS OF THIS BILL that protect patients in VACs by establishing medical standards for the clinics consistent with conventional out patient care facilities. Furthermore, to insist that medical doctors providing services to patients in these VACs be board certified with hospital privelges at local hospitals in case of emergencies requiring transfer of patients to Hospitals.
