it presents and unfair obstacle to the aged, infirm and the poor. It is often difficult for such people to obtain a photo ID. It also presents and unnecessary roadblock to ordinary citizens. Such a law is not needed. We already must provide a valid voter registration card and at least two people check to make sure we've not voted more than once and that our signatures match the signatures on the voter registration card. This amounts to little more than voter intimidation; especially to the aged and infirm who may not only find it difficult to obtain a photo ID but also find it difficult to stand in line the amount of time necessary to obtain it. They also may have difficulty finding the paperwork necessary to obtain the photo id in the first place.
