Board of Health,
It is imperative that the Board of Health uphold the existing standards regarding abortion facilities in the Commonwealth of Virginia. These standards are not difficult to meet and have the purpose of protecting women during a very difficult time. If the Governor truly cares about women, he would support the regulations and make them easier to enforce. If some abortion facilities have to make major changes to meet the new regulations, then it is for the betterment of their clients, even if it may cost a bit of money to meet the standards. And if they cannot meet the standards, shouldnt we be happy knowing that those centers who remain in business will be giving the women of the Commonwealth the best in womens care even if we do not support the act of abortion" M.
