Voter ID

I have received an email stating that election officials will accept any form of ID at the polls.  In response, I would like to state that a valid photo ID means that the ID must be valid.  To be valid, it must be in effect.  It cannot be expired.  A driver's license from DMV would be an excellent choice.  I also have an American Express credit card with a photo of myself on it.  I think that would be valid as well.   The ID should have the person's name and photograph from a valid company or agency and be in effect at the time of the electoral vote.  I could not see the law being upheld in court unless you would follow these suggestions.  I hope you agree.  Sincerely, Mark
