The police do not provide 30 day exceptions for expired license tags or drivers' licenses, and the IRS does not provide 30 day exceptions for tax return filings. Suggested wording:

"Valid" for all purposes related to voter identification means documents containing the name and a recognizable photograph of the voter and appearing to be genuinely issued to the voter by the issuer named on the document.
