Parents have primary authority over their children. It's a shame that an amendment has to be proposed on this topic. It seems natural that parents would be informed in advance of the materials to which their children are being exposed and would have a right to reject anything affronting their family's moral teachings and beliefs. It's a shame this basic communication between school and parents can't be assumed.
