Parents already have the right to opt their children out of material to which the parent objects. This legislation is unnecessary and would be a poor use of our teachers' already limited time.
Parents who object to specific materials: talk to your children's teachers. If, after discussing material with the teacher, you still object to it, opt your child out. You are already entitled to do this.
