Parents have the right to be notified

There have been multiple instances throughout America where teachers, curriculum and books have been used to indoctrinate our children specifically in regards to sexual preferences, homosexuality, promotion of Islam over Christianity often with biased wording of history, the promotion of the false anf fabricated issue of global warming as well as socialism. Parents are now becoming aware of these instances, and it is imperative that our state take steps to correct much of this misinformation and notify parents of its postive steps to correct it. I am in favor of such an amendment as long as it allows the parents and the education community together to define what is controversial and sensitive. To allow the educators to define only what is controversial and sensitive would be a mistake and make such an amendment useless.
