Restraints on Pregnant Inmates

Restraints on pregnant inmates, unless they are a danger to inmates or themselves, are beyond what is necessary.  Moreover, restraints around the waist or any area involving the fetus could be seen as an event causing the death of an infant.  The public should not be liable to lawsuits or other actions due to something that could easily be avoided and using another way to restrain a dangerous prisoner.  Let's use common sense and reduce the risk assessment on this issue.

Respectfully,

Dave
