Please support these sensible permanent regulations to ensure the safety of mothers and their children. The American Medical Association, the American Public Health Association, and the Amereican Congress of Obstetricians and Gynecologists, all support limiting the use of restraints for pregnant inmates. I thank the Board for proposing regulations to limit the use of restraints, and urge the Board to make these regulations final.
