As a woman and citizen of Virginia I request the board extend the same conditions for grandfathering to existing VA women's clinics as they do for existing hospitals. There was not a safety issue for women serviced by local clinics before the TRAP laws were signed into law and there is no need for these regulations now. This is just a way to close down clinics that provide abortion services and everyone knows it. Don't bother saying anything to the contrary.
Do the right thing, don't bring personal religious convictions into the public health arena. The women of Virginia are tired of begging for scraps. It is time to expand access to vital healthcare.
