our daughter needs care way above and beyond what would be expected from a parent, this would be extremely costly and if my wife cannot stay home to care for our daughter then sadly, she may end up having extended hospital stays. we have become experts in her care and daily routine. no nurse will be able to do a better job caring for our daughter than my wife does, we know this because we have been told this by several nurses during hospital stays. my wife has had to give up her job to care for our daughter. what are we even going to do, we were already reduced to a 1 income household, this puts so much strain on us. then to take away this ability for her to be compensated when we literally just got enrolled will be devastating for us. we will be in the position to consider having to give up our home. even with a skilled nurse coming to our home to take care of her we will not get the necessary hours, the cost will be way more, and it will most definitely lead to more frequent hospitalizations.
