The Menhaden Rendering Industry in Virginia plays a vital role in supporting our communities and driving regional economic sustainability.  The amount of donations from this industry given to local non-profits, schools, college scholarships and those in need, touches each one of us, every day.  Personally, being deeply entrenched in the nutritional aspects of the products produced from menhaden, I am well aware of the importance of this Protein and Omega-3 rich nutrient sold to US based companies that provide nutritious feed to our companion animals and to animals that feed each of us.  In addition, the menhaden provides us omega-3 supplementation for our own health maintenance.  My 90+ year old parents are consumers of omega-3!  It is endearing to be a part of a 100+ year old industry and a family of companies that takes great care of the natural resource, its employees, the local community and an awesome customer base.  

I urge each of you to carefully consider this:

1) Come to see and understand first-hand what we do, by arranging a tour of our companies 

AND

2) Do not support this needless petition!
