781-71 A. The center shall maintain a record of daily attendance that documents the arrival and departure times... Perhaps give centers the option to collect this documentation. Staff often have more critical concerns during arrival and departure of children. Some centers have the technology in place to capture this info in real time. For centers that do not, the burden is on the classroom teachers. Adding this digital technology can be expensive for smaller centers with limited budgets.
781-130 B.8. (ii) How the center will ensure that each group of children receives care by consistent staff or team of staff members. Suggestion: Replace "ensure" with "strive".
781-140 B. One of the most important trainings staff receive is Standard First Aid/CPR. It's importance is devalued when staff do not recieve credit toward the 16 hr annual requirement. Consider allowing this training to count towards the 16 hr requirement. Perhaps not for every renewal (every 2 yrs) but allow for the first occurrence of these trainings.
781-400 B. 7. Accident Reporting. Future action to prevent reoccurrence. Add: if applicable. Future action to prevent reoccurrence if applicable.
