I fully support ensuring the safety and well-being of all children in our care. However, requiring all programs to purchase and administer prescription epinephrine without individual medical authorization is not financially feasible, not medically safe, and not aligned with existing medication-administration regulations.

I respectfully urge the Virginia Department of Education to reconsider this proposal and instead pursue medically sound, parent-involved, and financially fair alternatives.
