Dear Virginia Legislators, 

The greatest power and responsibility of a Democracy is to protect minority voices and viewpoints that would otherwise be harmed by the majority  Thus, I urge our legislative leaders in Richmond to vote against Petition 432. Trans youth in Virginia (and the world) are a small minority worthy of our protection, not our oppression. This group is already suffering from fear, bullying, and cruelty that leads to adverse and unwanted outcomes. Thus, let’s open our hearts and our minds and extend a helping hand to our trans-youth rather erecting more barriers that marginalize these members of our community. I urge you to please vote against Petition 432.
