I oppose Petition 432. This petition is clearly an attempt to dehumanize and punish people who are trans. The petition insinuates that trans females elect to transition to the gender with which they identify for the sole purpose of preying on cisgender females. This is not supported with fact.

Trans females and males go through an arduous period of self-questioning and reflection prior to making the decision to transition and go through the difficult procedures involved. If the Board of Health is truly interested in the health of all Virginians, it should look to improve the health of all citizens regardless of their sex, gender, race, maternal status, or their zip code.
