I firmly support these young ladies and Petition 432. So disappointed by elected "representatives" whose actions do not represent the majority of constituents/citizens. Curious, why is this matter handled by the State Department of Health?
Madness and nonsense that we have to fight so hard for females - in this day of age - to live safely and simply pursue their goals. Females deserve better than being treated as second-class citizens to other young people who, instead of being properly counseled, are captured by social media, predators, medical "experts," and others who profit from their confusion.
There are only two genders. When anyone has "gender-affirming care," whether surgical or meds, they only offer you two choices in the transition: male to female or female to male.
Why aren't there any females who believe they're males vying to participate in an all-male event? Because, generally, the females CANNOT compete with the males! Males are biologically designed to possess more power than women. It certainly doesn't fit the definition of "equity" that is constantly drummed into us.
I don't see where it's fair to either athlete: females are cheated out of their chance to succeed and are at risk of being seriously injured, as we have already witnessed; insecure males have to find validation by cheating. If these lost young people must compete or participate in sports or an event, then form a trans-only team. Let's see how that works out!
I believe anyone supporting, participating, and perpetuating this culture of "transitioning" should be considered criminal. Protect our girls and young women in ALL spaces, and stop imposing this cruel ideology on everyone else.
