This petition is discriminatory and dangerous. The language it uses completely erases the identity of transgender women and girls by calling them males. It doesn't make women safer. It doesn't make girls safer. All the girls I know with transgender friends would be much MORE worried if their girlfriends were forced to use the men's bathroom. Let's let people be who they are, live their lives in peace, and go to the bathroom when they have to. This tiny slice of the population is not trying to hurt anyone. They are just trying to live authentic lives like the rest of us. Did you know that trans women's brains are more like cisgender women's brains in certain areas? This is not something people made up. Gender identity is real, and a trans woman has every right to exist, to pee in peace, to play sports. Let's not pretent this is about rights for women. We see what is happening around the country. This is another attempt at erasure of trans identity and it needs to be aired out for what it is and stopped.
