There are so few transgender athletes that it’s insane that we’re wasting time talking about this. There are real problems in the world that we could focus on fixing, things we could do to benefit EVERYONE, but instead we focus on which kids can and can’t play sports. This is just another moral panic and a distraction from the real issues like climate change, healthcare, and public education. It is so ridiculous and unfair to target little kids who just want to play sports. Transgender people are just like everyone else, and they just want to be able to do all the things other people are allowed to do, and they should not be excluded based on what people are WORRIED might happen, yet has not happened. It is ridiculous and cruel for the long arm of the state to reach out only to bully literal children who just want to be included. Focus on a real issue for once, and stop antagonizing children and families.
