This petition falsely labels trans women as a threat to the physical and mental health of cis gendered women. I echo VA’s National Association of Social Workers’ recognition of this proposal’s discriminatory efforts cloaked in misinformation. Proposals such as this are threat to Virginians safety and wellbeing by upholding dangerous climates of fear and erasure through misinformation.
