The State Board of Health should ignore the unmasked bigotry of both the petition and many of its supporters in favor of their civic duty: protecting the health and safety of ALL of the denizens of Virginia. The board is not a democratic institution and is not beholden to the whims of an electorate. 

Ignore the vile, hateful fiction of the Family Foundation and instead focus on the facts: this petition seeks to erase trans women and girls from public life by denying them access to public and private facilities. The proposal necessitates a massive invasion of privacy that will harm ALL women in Virginia as a means to intentionally harm one of the most vulnerable minorities in the Commonwealth. 

For the health and safety of every single woman and girl, reject this petition and the hatred it represents.
