I’m a mother of two daughters, both athletes, who I want kept safe when in a locker room or on the court. Young women should never be forced to share private facilities with biological males, miss out on athletic achievements because they must participate with biological boys, and especially, have their bodily privacy and safety endangered. These proposed regulations would be a common-sense safeguard for these girls. Please apply truths and common sense principles to protect the rights, privacy, and athletic opportunities of young women across Virginia.
