Biological Women are entitled to protection from discriminatory practices

I believe that biological males should not participate in organized female-only athletic teams and competitions in Virginia, nor should biological males use designated female spaces where females are likely to be in any state of undress. The self-identification of some men as women should not override the rights of biological women to be free from injury and discrimination. To pretend that gender self-identification can override biological and physiological differences is to put ideology in front of law, science, and common sense. Until recently, discrimination against biological women was not tolerated by society and its laws, but decades of protection are being thrown aside to give preferential treatment to a small group of men who perceive themselves to be women. Athletic competition should be based on biological, not political, categories.
