I appreciate that nurses have to do continuing education, which of course is important in the health field.  And I appreciate that they have to get their licenses renewed frequently to ensure they did their continuing education. But is ridiculous for them to have to pay such a high renewal fee.  In my opinion, it is already to high and now you propose a 64% increase.  I am sure you are aware there is a shortage in the nursing field. An increase of this size (or any size) is only an added impediment to the acquisition and retention of nurses. For the sake of public health, please do not pass this increase or any increase.
