I support the Art Therapy licensure. As a practicing Art Therapist, I know firsthand how important this license is. Licensing art therapists in Virginia will ensure that ethical practices will be followed, and that mental health access will improve. It also will ensure that art therapists don't need to leave the state to be able to practice and provide services.
