I am concerned as it is that the nursing profession is not as attractive as it once was, given COVID 19 and ongoing overrun hospitals, ER's, and nursing homes. 

I am an APRN now, and feel some guilt when I think that I am relieved to not be working shifts in acute care at this time. 

For a nurse who always tried to take the students and help people improve and move along with their careers, this is upsetting. I would think there could be another area of taxation/licensure that could leverage more state income??
