RNs who are not actively working may not be able to afford fee increase

As a RN who is not actively working and just wants to keep my license active until I hope to be actively working in the future, this fee increase is unreasonably high. I already have to pay out of pocket for continuing education hours in addition to the fee.  This fee increase may cause RNs who are not actively working to be unable to renew their license and thereby reduce the number of nurses with active licenses who are able to practice nursing in the future and we already have a nursing shortage.
