Concerns about proposed increase in RN licensure fees

It does not sit right with me that you are proposing to increase the licensure fees for RNs and APRNs when the deficit is due to the cost of maintaining the CNA registry.

RNs and APRNs should not have to bear the brunt of this deficit and I feel that substantially increasing the licensure fees for RNs and APRNs will deter those interested in practicing.

Why is the BON responsible for the CNA registry and for covering the cost of CNA certificates?

If an increase is deemed “necessary,” why a 65-70% increase? Why do nurses now need to alleviate the deficit for the next 8 years?
