Please accept this statement FOR Kratom being kept legal is unadulterated form.

My wife and I are retired and suffer from age related issues. My wife has had two back surgeries and often deals with the associated pain. I have severe arthritis with aching joins. My fingers are no longer straight. The discomfort is a constant reminder of the ravages age takes on our body.

My wife is an Accountant. I worked in manufacturing rising to be a General Manager of a high tech sonar equipment company. We have four children, all of whom have graduated college and successfully pursing their own careers. I mention this only so you will know we are responsible, mature adults that take life seriously. Neither of us have any criminal records. We are typical, middle Americans that love our country and are engaged in our society.

We discovered Kratom several years ago and found it minimizes our pain and discomfort to such a degree that it allows us to function as we did in younger years. There have been no side effects and no problems stopping it which we have done several times. My wife typically takes 3 “OO” capsules twice a day and I take 5 (I am 6’2”, 250lbs).

Please do not restrict access to unadulterated Kratom. It is a natural product with little to no downsides. I hope you consider that there are those that would like to see Kratom restricted so they can profit from a ban or restrictions. We live in a fast changing world where there are many that seek money and power. We must always be on guard to protect our freedoms from those that wish to profit from restrictions. Our elected Officials are our best defense against allowing our freedoms to be taken away. Please help us keep unadulterated Kratom available.
