Community professional who has seen firsthand the benefits of kratom

I have served thousands of clients in a legal capacity in Northern Virginia for over a decade. Kratom has helped countless people, including my fentanyl and heroin addicted clients, come off of…and stay off of prescription opioids and fentanyl. Banning kratom will only lead to more people without an option, and they will turn to more dangerous alternatives. Banning kratom will lead to more deaths.

I myself suffer from chronic pancreatitis, and neuropathy. I have been prescribed numerous addicting medications over the years, such as oxycodone and tramadol…but kratom has been the only thing that truly allows me to live a life free of pain, without feeling buzzed, addicted, intoxicated, or sleepy. I have stopped many times over the years, with zero ill effects (unlike the legally prescribed medications).

Banning Kratom, I am 100% confident, will make the fentanyl epidemic worse.
