Kratom has many uses including and most commonly for chronic pain management. In the past people had to live in constant pain which robbed them of their quality. Many times people living in such conditions resorted to using highly addictive and dangerous prescribed opioids. Unlike those prescribed drugs Kratom does not impair and does not result in make people drugged up and out of control zombies who throw their lives away for their addiction. It is also common for these individuals to eventually turn to street drugs when cut off from the much more expensive big pharma prescribed drugs. Banning kratom is about Big Pharma money, not safety.
