Please look at the medical resesrch

Respectfully, I am asking that the results of the medical studies on Kratom be thoroughly reviewed before any ban is enacted.  I can tell you Kratom has saved my life - a life of trying to manage pain with prescription opioids.  I was fed up with being prescribed medication that is know to not only be addictive, but left me unable to function as a ‘normal’ adult with a career and family.  A friend who also had debilitating back pain told me he had been introduced to a ‘miracle’ plant, Kratom.  After thoroughly researching Kratom, I discovered it was an amazing natural substance that not only gave me relief from my pain, it allowed me to be pain free while being a fully functional employee, husband and father.  Kratom has helped me get my life back - managed my pain and it has absolutely none of the horrible effects of prescribed opioids.
In short, please keep this amazing life changing plant accessible for all - especially those who are now being prescribed opioids and are in a horrible place - trying to manage their pain, while being able to be 100% functional in every way.  Regulation is welcome, but denying access and prosecuting those using this natural resource in order to live with their debilitating pain, would be a horrific way to put more people in a position to rely on addictive opioids that keep them in a fog and cut off from society.
