Kratom offers significant pain relief without the side effects that are very common with opioids. Kratom has a potential of being a harmless alternative to opioids. Criminalization of Kratom will penalize law abiding citizens who are just looking for pain relief without getting addicted. This is why I stand against the criminalization of kratom.
