Kratom has been a lifesaver for me. As someone with extensive orthopedic injuries and surgeries, I’ve been on opioids for many years of my life. Kratom has permitted me to stop prescription opioids and still treat my debilitating pain. Scheduling this plant will exacerbate the damage the opioid epidemic has had on Virginians. Do not schedule it.
