Id like to share with you my story and explain why keeping kratom legal in Virginia matters so much. I hurt my back many years ago and was placed on pain pills. I became addicted to them and they ruined my life, as I'm sure you've heard stories before. I started buying Suboxone off the streets thinking, this will help with the pain of withdraw. Little did I know, the withdraws from Suboxone were even worse than the pain pills. Years and years, 1 suffered. Until I heard about an Herb, called Kratom, was actually helping people around the country to stop the addiction and get their lives back. Well, I had to try it. Today, I am 6 years free of the misery! A small amount of Kratom took away the horrific pain of withdraw from opioids.

The only side effect, constipation. It took 3 months and I was already forgetting to take any kratom when I woke up, and I slowly began to trust that the Kratom was saving my life. And it did just that. It saved my life. I now have a full time job, that I can pass a drug test at.., and have gotten my family back and grown closer to them more than I have ever been. I'm contributing to society, providing for my family and I don't know where I would be without Kratom. Please, do the research, do the studies, don't take away the opportunity for people to get their lives back! Don’t condemn that really need this product to recover and get their lives back. Please, don't take that away from them.
