Please stop the rape of the Bay. The vast removal of menhaden has completely thrown the balance of the Bays ecosystem out of order. The top tier preditators need vast quantites of forage protein to thrive, thus increasing the economic value of sport fishing and other commercial fishing. (not industrial removal fishing). Shipping the current menhaden to Canada to feed salmon instead of the rockfish, bluefish, cobia, Trout is damaging as hell to Virginia. Local seafood shops have very little to any local fish on sale. Try to buy a grey trout from Virginia.
