Over the recent years, I have observed less pods of menhaden in the Chesapeake Bay. Not only are there less pods, but the size of the fish in the pods are smaller.  Without more protection of this vital species in their tributary, I feel the longer term effects have the potential to harm not only the menhaden population, but all the other species that forage upon them.

Take steps now to protect the health of the bay!
