I support the petitioner's request for rulemaking to restrict the reduction industry from harvesting menhaden in the Chesapeake Bay.  In my opinion, Virginia should ban the menhaden reduction industry from fishing within the waters of the Chesapeake Bay consistent with the bans enacted by the other East Coast States.  I have personally seen the results of this protection in the waters around New Jersey and New York.
