DEQ...Who is actually protecting the Bay?

As a lifelong resident of Virginia, I always felt confident that the health of the Chesapeake Bay was being protected/guarded foremost by the Chesapeake Bay Foundation ( as a watchdog organization) and that the DEQ was on the side of ensuring the protection of the Chesapeake Bay waters health/environment from hazards such as storm drain pollution, fertilizer run-off, sewage discharge etc. It appears that Omega Protien and their partners that habitually vacuum the Menhaden from the purse sein nets into the holds and then discharge the waste-by products into the Bay, have little understanding of the environmental impact.

Please listen to those of us that truly care more about our Chesapeake Bay's health than chasing the favors of Omega Protien $$.

I DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BILL
