Menhaden Slaughter

I respectfully ask this question: As we should we are regulating fisheries to great measures to ensure the perpetuation of many species. Yet we allow foreign companies to remove from our waters the very food our protected species depend on, why? The greatest spawning area for the Striped bass has been the target of Menhaden to the extent that the stock is so low that the huge population of recreational fishermen are allowed only one Striped Bass at 28 to 31 inches. The Chesapeake Striper Nursery has been devastated because of the depletion of bait fish, The most important fish in the Ocean: The Menhaden. Please restrict the catch of these valuable fish.JL
