As a resident of Loudoun County, I would like to express my opposition to the proposed variance to allow data centers to use diesel generators more often. Many of these data centers are very close to residential areas. Both the air and noise pollution will have adverse health effects on nearby residents. Lack of government and utility planning should not be an excuse to endanger our health. I support more environmental study of the situation and a moratorium on further data center construction until we can get a handle on what is going on.

Also, why is a public hearing for Loudoun County residents being held in Woodbridge? This creates serious questions about whether public comment and access is truly encouraged.
